Merry Christmas and a Happier 2021

Posted on in Site Updates

We wanted to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you who follows us on social media and who visits our website for sticking with us.

It's safe to say it's been a bizarre year for most of us! We abruptly ended operations in March due to the Covid19 lockdown and the need to focus on ensuring that our families were prepared for that.

Over the lockdown and summer a lot of work was carried out in fundamentally rewriting our codebase from the ground up. We were able to introduce our Snow Tracker which up until now had been an internal resource.

We still have other things to do. In 2021 we have a number of updates planned to various parts of the website, some of which we are currently testing. We're also beginning work on a much needed rewrite of the codebase of one of our internal tools.

During the Christmas period we won't be at our desks - but the work we've done this year means that the website should be up to date. We will be back on 27 December and we'll be keeping an eye on the weather models in the meantime.

All that's left to say is thank you for sticking with us and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take care and stay safe.
