Heath Lane Nursery's Snow Updates

There is no caretaker to clear snow so please consider parking on the roads as the turning circle is very slippery.

Main roads are clear but paths around nursery have a light dusting of snow.

Staff are on their way in so NURSERY and CLUB are OPEN today.

Message for the children:

There may be some icy patches under the snow so please WALK to nursery and keep close to your grown up.

If you cannot make it to nursery or club today please ring between 9am and 10am.

REMEMBER NURSERY CLOSED NEXT WEEK for HALF TERM but Holiday Club open.

All staff are on site so business as usual.

Nursery and CLUB will be open. Main roads clear so staff aiming to get in.I have made it to nursery!

SCHOOL OPEN. Thank you for your patience yesterday.

The Gas Engineer has been and is happy with the boilers. The heating is on now to check that there is no further likelihood of a gas smell tomorrow. Please check this website before setting out for nursery.

We regret to inform you that despite assurances from the boiler engineer at lunchtime that everything was working safely we have once again been able to smell gas in the nursery.

I am waiting for another engineer to come out tonight. I will keep you updated with regards to school opening tomorrow. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.

Heating is back on and no gas smell. Everything is looking good for normal nursery sessions tomorrow.

There are no morning or afternoon nursery sessions today Tuesday 10th January 2012 as we have had a problem with a suspected GAS LEAK. Although the site is now safe we have no heating. The engineer is currently servicing the boilers to check for any issues.

We anticipate normal nursery sessions will be resumed tomorrow. Please check the websites before leaving for nursery tomorrow.
